I have chosen this topic because I think it is very interesting, I don’t think we have enough knowledge about it, and I want to know more about it, I want to understand.

Self Esteem: When you become a teenager your body is going through a lot of changes such as gain weight, growing taller and much more! You might get insecure, your body feels awkward and you might get sad. Your friends are also changing and maybe the change is too big for your friendship so you might lose some friends. All those changes can course low self esteem and it happens to almost all teenagers. A teenager with a low self esteem will often say that they are stupid, ugly, fat and of course a lot other things which hurts, the words is also saying help me I do have lows self esteem! If you have a teenager with low self esteem it doesn’t mean that you are a bad parent because it is very normal with low self esteem but of course the most parents will blame them self. The media is twisting the young minds, when we see all the pretty and skinny models, it can also course low self esteem because we begin to think that it is normal to look like that, but in most cases the computer is editing the photo. When we girls see all that we could imagine it was us, and that can actually course an eating disorder.
