It raises the question: “is the Commonwealth Organisation profitable for Britain?” Oborne wishes to debate the question from an objective perspective, but the writer’s opinion; which is completely transparent; stands out unquestionably. Somehow, he only speaks highly of the subject while negative remarks are not tolerated or regarded. Furthermore, he continues to blame countries with a more neo-conservative front/philosophy. Oborne´s intention with this article is to provoke the reader to take a stand upon the subject at hand and to raise awareness or to spike the common interest on this subject. Though, the real question remains; can a true apprehension be made solely from an article as opinionated as Oborne’s? |
