The South's Atlantic Coast. It had been a long journey before we arrived at Hilton Head, South Carolina, where we stayed for some time. We had traveled hundred of thousand miles, from Long Island, New York, throw Hempstead Plains were we encamped at Camp Winfield Scott, Washington D.C, and Annapolis, Maryland. After the long journey we couldn’t feel anything in our feet’s and legs, they were so tired after walking for three days straight.
