Brenda Spencer was an American girl who was born April 3rd in 1962 in San Diego.
She have a sister called Teresa Spencer and a brother called Scot Spencer.
She was only 16 years old when she became a killer in 1979.
She lived opposite the school, where she shot and killed two persons, and 9 people were hurt.
When Brenda Spencer shot and hurt those people in 1979, she entered a sad statistic of teenage shootings.

The shooting began at 8:30 and ended in the afternoon when she gave herself up.
She got the gun from her dad as a Christmas present.
The police were not prepared for the chaos at the crime scene, and was surprised to arrest a teenage girl for the killings. They used a garbage truck to block the shots.
The reason why she used the gun, was that she hated Mondays.
Later a song called I don`t like Mondays became a hit and was related to the crime
Her shooting was the first teenage killing in the history of San Diego.

From the interviews we hear about her troubled family life where she claimed her father abused her, and the mother did not care. She also said that the father hit her face, and yelled at her.
