In the United states, they support the 2nd amendment and the NRA. Are the gun laws reason to many of the school shootings in USA? It is known as the main reason to one of the most tragic school shootings in the history of the USA: The Columbine High School Shooting. And even after that, the laws have not changed, and there are just as many people who supports the 2nd amendment, as there were before. But why?
In America, many people have guns, many of them have good reasons to own them such as being hunters, being in the military, being a police officer or maybe even a guard who has some special rights. Others for example have them just to have weapons, not for any reason. Other gunowners also have them for the protection of their home or their families. And then there are the few ones who have guns to spread fear and harm to other civilians for no good reason.
I especially find it very terrifying that you can go into a bank/gun dealer, start a bank account and get a free gun of nearly your own choice. In a way they are reason that many American people have guns and use guns. And after you have got the gun, you can pretty much just walk into a mart and buy ammunition, and then you are ready to go out and just shoot around. I think it’s in a way promoting to the school shootings. And when we have the kind of people in the country who could come up with the idea to do that, they should just stop handing guns out to different people.
