Hi Gitte I decided to write a speech to my best friends sweet sixteen, instead of my own, because otherwise I could come up with anything hope it’s fine.
My best friend,
Today is your sweet sixteen, a day most overeager teenage girls cannot wait for but knowing you, you’ve so waited patiently for your day to come. I am so proud of you and all you’ve accomplished. You have grown up to be such a strong and amazing person. Today I look at you as more of a woman and not so much a girl anymore. You’re so prepared for whatever this world may bring to you whether it’s expected or not. To me you are more than just my best friend; you are definitely my third sister. You and I have an inseparable bond no matter where our life decisions may take us. I cherish our friendship so much. It’s incredible of how little fights we’ve gotten in since we were only six and seven years old, usually you hear of best friends getting in ridiculous fights then refusing to speak with each other for months, but not us. Maybe it’s because of the fact that we’re afraid of losing each other, because we’re too afraid of losing all of the great times we’ve had and all the memories throughout our friendship.
