To: [email protected] Subject: The first week at my new school Dear teacher. My family and I moved to Minnesota this summer, and it’s great here, although I really miss all of you. In the first week at my new school, I saw a very nice and beautiful girl. I also met 2 boys who are now my friends. The first day at my new school we had math in room 243 from 08:30 to 11:45. My new math teacher is a little strict, but also very funny. After that we had P.E, and the sweet girl was in the same class as me and she smiled at me!!! I was so excited! I started to blush, and I did not know what to do, so I just looked away. I realized afterwards that it was a huge mistake and that instead, I should have smiled back. Later that day I went to the club and it was here I met William and Jason. I thought they were so cool, so I went over to them and asked if they would like to talk, and maybe teach me a bit about the American culture. They said they would love to. They taught me how to act in class, what the school is like, who to talk to, which girls are hot and they introduced me to their friends. My first school day was great. The next two school days were Just like in Denmark with homework, boring classes and tests, though I were surprised by all the tests. There are way more tests than in Denmark. Thursday we had Biology from 13:15 to 15:15. In Biology, we did an experiment with a turbine. Initially, it went very well, but the longer the experiment lasted we could see more and more smoke, and finally, the turbine burned down, and the fire spread out wildly and then the fire department was called and eventually put out the fire. We got the rest of the day off because of this accident. Friday afternoon we had to do homework in the study hall. As I enter the room, I see the cute girl, and decided that I will sit next to her and try to start a conversation. I sit at her table, pretending to do my homework. all of a sudden the led on my pencil breaks. I ask if I can borrow her pencil sharpener, and that's how it started. We became really good friends in about 2 hours and she is now one of my best friends. Regards,
