It is about two children, which parents get separated. The mother and father decided that the kids have to live at their father. A few weeks after the mother moved out. One day the mother asked the girl to go having lunch, and she really wanted to. But the next day the mother doesn’t show up. The girl waits the whole day, and she even said no to see a movie with a friend. Later the mother called and said she was working all day, and know she was tired. And so it went on and on for several times. At home she lived in a “boy-world”. It wasn’t easy for her. But years after she accepted her mother for whom she was. The girl realized that she had an ordinary family, not like anybody others, but still with love and loyalty as other families.
a) I think, it means, that a mother is supposed to always be there for her kids, no matter what.
