Abstract

In this assignment I’ll be covering the history of the gun law including everything from the second amendment to the civil war conflict and newer days gun laws and gun control including both direct laws and ''household'' gun control. The American society broken down with the onion-diagram, values as the American dream and freedom, rituals as pride, heroes as Captain America and John Cena and symbols as the seal of America and their flag and all the changes it has been through. I’ll be talking about speeches, one by the American comedian and former Australian citizen Jim Jefferies who got famous for showing his, for Americans, very liberal agenda, and an article by former professor in English, Harry Mosley, about how guns can’t kill on their own, but we act like it’s the gun’s fault. At last I go through the argument for and against gun control and try to find out for myself if the American society can do as the Australian did and get rid of the guns once and for all.
