Essay Bullying

I think bullying is when someone keeps saying ugly words to a person, even if the person says they should stop. There are many types of bullying, and it can be both adults and children. Some people think bullying is cool, and they bully the weak or the different person, to be stronger or to have power over the persons they bully. Bullying is almost everywhere, often in schools or at job. It’s not easy to stop it, because they just do it again. Many don’t know how the person feels, because they are never self been bullied. So they don’t know how bad it is, and don’t think that the person have it so hard. It is also bullying when you keep a person outside. It can also be violence, threats, or get them to something they don’t want to. In many schools they work hard to stop bullying, and they have treated the people who bully harder. But still it’s not enough. Some children don’t say it to their parents or teachers because they are afraid of what the people will do then they say it. Sometimes it helps, and other times it gets worse. In my old class, there was a boy who has been bullied a lot for many years. The school tried to do something about it, but it was difficult, because it was not just one person. They bullied him because he’s fat, It took them many years to make them stop, but then he lost weight because he came to a camp called “jule mærke hjem” he was there in 3 months. Now he is in a 56new class, so in a way he has got a new start, because new pupils have come to the school. It has also helped a lot. Sometimes the people who bullied are those who have a hard live; it can be because the parents are on drugs, alcohol abuse, or unemployed. It may also be those people who are bullied; it can also be because of the people aren’t pretty, or look different; but it is often because the person is fat. My conclusion on this topic is that bullying is bad thing for everybody involved, but it is difficult to do something about. It is important to keep on trying to get rid of it.
