22 July tells the true story of the aftermath of Norway's deadliest terrorist attack. On 22 July 2011, 77 people were killed when a far-right extremist detonated a car bomb in Oslo before carrying out a mass shooting at a camp for teens. The two main characters in the film is Anders Breivik which is the far-right extremist that are described as a smart person and he is very truth full in what he believes in and as described he would do anything to get his message out to the world, he is very passionate, so if he gets and idea he does everything to make personal success. his mom has described him as a very lovely person in his first years but got into some problems as he went to high school, his main problem was that he was lonely and different. Viljar Hanssen is also one of the main characters in the film, he is a very passionate young man, and everybody loves him, he knows what he wants to do with his life. Anders Breivik was born and raised on a farm, but when his father died, he and his mother moved to central Oslo in a small apartment. started to feel lonely and depressed. He started to be stuffier around his friends and family, they couldn't get in contact with him the past few years and he got more and more undercover. Viljar Hanssen has always lived up north. where they use snowmobiles or 4-wheelers. he has always lived with what you call “a perfect family” and have always had a happy life. He began in high school in Oslo and found a bunch of friends who talked about this summer camp, he got interested and there for joined them on their trip to Utøya. Anders Breivik is the scarier and more mysterious guy in the movie, and you will always think of what is going to happen next when you see him in a scene. And Viljar is just a normal boy who is trying to have a good summer with his best friends at the summer camp. I like the two characters because they are two totally different people and there for seeing the both sides of the story totally caught me.
