What is the 4th of july
Independence day or the 4th of july is where Americans and people with american roots celebrate the day the 13 colonies declared independence from Great Britain
Why do they celebrate
The americans celebrate because they think of Independence day as the day where USA was turned from 13 colonies to a complete nation.
The wrong date
Some people think it`s wrong to celebrate on the 4th of july because it wasn't the day where the continental congress decided to declare independence. They decided to declare independence the 2nd of july but the declaration of independence was first done to sign the 4th of july and it was also there it was signed
