Shoppingtur i London og refleksion over homoseksualitet

Me and my best friend, met in the airport, in New York, 7:30 in the morning. we were going to London on a little shopping tour. A few weeks ago, we ordered a place to sleep, it was expensive, but worth it. Our plane took off 9:30, and we were excited, but a 9-hour flight were ahead of us. I slept about 7 hours and in the last 2, I watched a movie, on the screen inside of the chair in front of me. It was very boring and not a good film at all, but the time passed, and we arrived at London. We hired a taxi, just like every other person does, just stick your hand out, and they will pick you up. A 15-minute taxi tour, and then we arrived at the hotel. We quickly threw our clothes in the cabinet and ran out in the city. A lot of money were spent in a very little time, then we stopped for a little while to smoke a cigarette, and suddenly a group of young people came with big posters, and were screaming a lot of weird things, like. “Don’t judge 2 girls kissing in public.” We quickly realized it was a demonstration, and we didn’t support their opinion. So, we start walking away, and then 2 guys came over, “Are you guys gay?” he asked. “No, of course not,” I replied. “Why you say of course, there is nothing wrong with being homosexual.” He replied angrily. We started going in to an alleyway to get away from the weirdos. We headed back home to the hotel, and we just watched movies and ate popcorn for the whole night. The next day, we headed out again, to shop some more. Then I saw 2 guys holding hands, and I for some reason kept my eye on the guys, and then all of a sudden 3 guys showed up. Then they started to beat the 2 guys into blood and tears, I quickly ran over to them and pushed the 3 guys away. “Go away, leave them alone.” I screamed. “Are you guys okay?” I asked the 2 guys. “It happens a lot, but thanks for helping us.” Then the guys bought us icecream to thank us. That experience gave me another angle on homosexuality, and how kind they actually can be. From now on I will not disrespect them anymore, they are just as much people as we are.
