Being Different: Homoseksualitet og sociale udfordringer

I don’t know anybody who doesn’t like gay people or have any prejudices against them, where I live.

I joined a youth club, and there was a youth club worker who was lesbian. So I have met gay people in my town. She is the man in the relationship, and that is clearly. She’s always dressed like a man and has a haircut like a man. Her interests are computer games and football, and she likes tattoos. She didn’t were any makeup like other women.

Homosexuals face many problems in the society. One of the problems they face can be if to gay people would like to adopt a baby, because the society won’t let them. As they don’t think that they can take care of a baby as well as a heterosexual couples can, and also because they think their baby will turn gay as well as the parents. Homosexuals can’t be married in a church yet. They can only be married at the Town Hall.

My personal view on gays is that they should have the same rights as heterosexuals have. I have nothing against them. I really feel sorry for some of them, because it isn’t all of them who accept that they are who they are, and therefore they commit suicide.
