Soccer is one of the most famous sports in the world, maybe even THE most famous. You can go almost anywhere in the world, and people will at least know the basic rules of the game. But when a sport has grown so big and famous as soccer, it will automatically bring a few problems.
One of the problems is the treatment of the referees; it has grown worse as the sport has grown bigger. Some of the things people do is, when the referee makes a call that they doesn’t agree with, they get mad about it and starts shouting insults, throwing thing at them, and sometimes even run down on the field and attack the referee.
Sometimes the players actually have a part in getting the crowd excited, and make them, verbally or physically assault the referees, like when a soccer player, feels that the referee had made a bad call, and starts yelling at him, and sometimes maybe push him or something, it sometimes have a bad effect on the fans, because when the fans watches their favourite soccer player yelling and shouting because the referee have made a bad call on him, it makes them side with him, and the they get all excited and starts shouting at the referee and throwing stuff at him.
