Klage over vandskade på chokoladeforsendelse

I refer to the consignment of 20 pallets of Fairtrade chocolate from Nigeria supplied against our order no. FCK155-2018.

I’m writing to you today because We have unfortunately found, that part of the shipment of 20 pallets of Fairtrade chocolate has suffered from water damage, therefore it appears that it would have most likely been damaged whilst it was being transported at sea.

We have never experienced any issues regarding transportation with BlueOceanTransport and having discussed the problem on the telephone with your Mr. Craig Johnson, it appears we are not the only company who have contacted you about this problem, in fact there is more than 150 companies that have been exposed to the same situation.

Since the water damage of the shipment were due to your transportation, I suggest that you could pay for the part of our shipment which has been damaged, or perhaps order a replacement of the damaged goods. I’m looking forward to hearing from you, as to when we can expect the payment or a replacement.
