Now I’m home, I feel so lucky, I still remember my trip, as the best time in my life. My parents give me a chance to visit a different country, both so I could learn about a different country, but also so I could surf, because that’s have been my biggest dream since a was 5 years old. So, my parents has decided to lay up, so they could give me this amazing adventure, which I am very grateful for now.
At that moment it dawned on me, that i should live 6 days on my own, with a completely foreign family and in an otherwise country. I had never been nervous and curious in my life before, but i knows that was the best decision for me. Before I came to the country, I thought a lot about it, because I had never been in other countries, that my parents not have a lot of moneys to spend on holidays, so that was like a new world to me.
That I remember distinct was the first day. The family stood in front of me with open arms, they all said welcome at the same time with a warm smile. Already there I felt it would be a nice time. It was so different for me in those days, I got a little sister and brother, and two new parents. They gave me a tour of the house and showed me my room. I was so happy the house was so amazing, and I could see the beach from my window.
