Min CouchSurfing oplevelse i New York

I was traveling for 6 weeks to have the experience of visiting my favorite place.

Before I went there, I signed up on the CouchSurfings website and made a post about myself.

I described what I liked doing in my spare time and I wrote some facts about myself such as my age and my gender and my phone number for contact.

Shortly after, someone called me and asked if I still was searching for shelter.

I greeted the man and told him that I was still searching for a place to stay, and then he asked if I would like to stay at their place. I replied that I would love to come and stay.

The place I visited was a small apartment in downtown Manhattan. It was on the 5 floor so there was a great view out to the other apartments. The apartment was 29 square meters and there lived a family of 4 people. I slept on the couch in the living room, and that was a good way to be a part of the family.

I loved the way they furnished the apartment. They had a lot of paintings on the walls, and a lot of plants all around the house. The house also smelled very delightful because of the scented candles. They had a lot of books on 2 big bookshelves, and generally, their home was very ascetic.
