I have lived my whole life fighting for who we are. In the eyes of the white we are a threat. Every white person fear us, but why? Don’t ask me, ask them! I don’t know what we’re doing wrong. At first there was peace, then hate, then fear, then apartheid, and now we are getting killed because we fight for our rights. How can that be? We get treated like living garbage cans. Do you maybe want to be treated like that? Every day you go to work, people stare at you while they cover the eyes of their children. You Can’t even use a normal toilet you must use a hole in the ground. I’ll ask you again what have we done wrong? We fight for our rights, is that a problem now? Why can’t we live like every other person?
I’ve been send to prison island where I was told I would never see my family again. I’ve been used and tortured, torn away from my family and left alone. How would you like that? Of course, we get mad and angry! They kill our innocent families who have done nothing but fighting for their rights. Why? Are we that different? I mean I see no difference than the colour of our skin. We have absolutely no rights at all. They take everything from us! Our homes our families, our whole life! We can’t even go to the streets without fearing the police! I Have this one dream that when my children grow older they can run in the streets and play without fearing their lives. But that won’t happen if we don’t have any rights and you keep killing us. Therefor we must hold together as one.
