Equality is very important. I'm sure every person has felt the feeling of being different and  deselected. The feeling of being unequal to other people is devastating. No humans should ever  feel that. Not black people. Not white people. ?NO ONE should ever feel that!

We should all be treated the same, whether we are black, white or pink!  We definitely need some more focus on this. There are still people out there who are being  treated unequally compared to others every day and that is not okay!  That's why I think the theme for Black history month 2020 should be equality.

Equality is about ensuring that every individual has an equal opportunity to make the most of  their lives and talents. It is also the belief that no one should have fewer chances in life, based  on where they come from, what they believe, where they are born, or whether they have a  disability, or not - we are all human beings.

People who are treated fairly and have equal opportunity are better able to contribute socially  and economically to the community and to enhance growth and prosperity.   Equality means "the state of being equal." It's one of the ideals a democratic society, and so the  fight to attain different kinds of equality, like racial equality, gender equality, or equality of  opportunity between rich and poor, is often associated with progress toward that ideal of  everyone being truly equal.
