Sport has always existed, there has always been competition between people. Example who could run fastest, or who could throw longest. The first Olympic games were in 1896 in Athens, here athletes showed their sports.

Sport is still interesting but it has developed. Some people think that there are sports, that are only for boys. For example football, golf, Tour de France and Stock car race. There are also some people that think that there are sports only for girls. For example Handball and horse riding. I don’t think that there are sports only for males or females. But in some sports it is an advantage to have a good physique and males are often stronger than females. And that’s why males are a little bit better to football and handball than females, because in those types of sports muscles have an important role to play. But this does not mean that it is a sport only for males.

To a male football match there are maybe 40.000 spectators, and to female football match there are maybe 5.000 spectators. This tell a lot about the spectators support to the teams. The disadvantage with many spectators to a match is that they incite to hooliganism which is often seen to football matches. All the spectators has something to do with the economics. Media has more focus on males than females. The money is definitely in the male football. The spectators want to see the males football matches. Again, that’s because that males are better than females. This does not mean that females are bad, they just don’t have a chance to reach the males level because of the physique. Actually the level for female football is higher than ever before.
