I was walking down the street, I couldn’t figure out what I should say to my parents. My heart pumped, and I was in shock. I finally reach my house, and my heart pumped faster and faster. I opened the door and saw my parents. They were crying, because they couldn’t find me. they were happy, when they saw me standing at the front door. They hugged me so hard, that I couldn’t breathe. I told them what’s happen, but they didn’t say anything. Until my mom said, “we must say thanks to Mrs. Bates”. But I told them “ about the event. But they finally said, that they were just happy he was home. They went to bed, and I fell asleep.

Hello, my name is Roger Fenton. I am the little boy that tried to steal your purse. I am writing to Thank you for taking me in that night.
I’ve done so well till this day, all thanks to you Mrs. Bates. Now, years after I’ve learned to asked for some food instead of just taking, because you taught me that asking is better and way more coveted than stealing. I would really like to thank you, for the ten dollars. I loved my sued shoes you gave me, and I still do. I remember you told me to go wash my face and since then, I’ve trying to keep a cleaner face. Today, I went for a job interview at the clothing store downtown, it will give me enough money to eat just as much as we did that night and more to come, every day.
