'To Kill a Mockingbird', filmanalyse

SUMMARY To kill a mockingbird is a film that takes place in the 1930, in the southern states. The film is about a white male defending a black man, in a state mostly run by white people. The film tackles all the aspects of segregation and fighting for what is right. The white defender of the film, Atticus is the only person who wants or is willing to try defending the innocent Tom. Defending a black person in Alabama at that time does usually result in defeat. The accused black man Tom is already losing the case against the white person, who is accusing him of raping his wife, of which he did not do. Atticus and his two children, “Scout” AKA Jinn and Jem, protect Tom and help him from losing against the, clearly rigged jury and judge. They end up losing the case. Atticus had fund evidence that clearly made Tom not guilty, but a white against a black is not a favorable position for Tom to be in, he would have lost with or without the evidence.

MY OPINION AND FELLINGS FOR THE MOVIE I do like the movie; I think it shows in an understandable way just, how bad the oppression was and how much hate they had to deal with. In my opinion, the movie is good and a movie that will not be forgotten easily. One scene stuck with me the most, the scene where Atticus is protecting, Tom from an angry lot of white people, who do not like having Tom in a white people state and are already taking the accusing’s site right out the gate. Then unexpectedly, comes “Scout” and Jem to help Atticus. Scout talks to them and that hits them hard in the fells, which sent them off. It is a cute and wholesome scene, which is very memorable.
