Juliet, naked By Nick Hornby is a novel written about a couple from England, by the names Annie and Duncan. They travel to Minneapolis together, because Duncan is a huge music fan of Trucker Crowe. Annie has a lot of patients with Duncan and his fan obsession, but it’s also too much for her and the relationship. She travels with Duncan around USA to see the places that have a connection to Trucker Crowe. But it’s his wish not hers, and she wants to have a romantic vacation together.
They have been together for many years, and Trucker Crowe has always been a part of the package. She feels like it’s Trucker Crowe before her. Duncan promises to have Trucker Crowe out of his system after this trip, but Annie is not completely buying it, and tells him that it’s okay, and she don’t mind it.

The novel is set in London during 1997.The genre of the novel is crime fiction and satire, it’s a satire on the music industry. It’s what you call a dark satire, with drugs, sex, alcohol and much more. We follow the lead character Steven Stellfox through he’s dark journey through life. And we get a glimpse of how the record industry is a place full of fake people, where ambition has more value than talent. It’s mainly based about the UK record industry, and how it’s hard to get to the top, and stay there. Steven Stellfox works at his recording company Artist and Repertoire division. Lying is a natural thing for Steven, and often screw over friends, family and coworker. He is materialist and egoist. He’s goal f is to be on the top and be the best, also if it costs him. If anything, or anyone stands in he’s way to reach the top, he will make sure it will be hell for them or whatever comes he’s way.
