Was Malcolm X racist?
El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz better known as Malcolm X, was a man who fought for the civil rights of the African American people, but his methods where remarkable. He wasn’t like Martin Luther King who also fought for equal rights. Malcolm X used violence to get the authorities' attention. Early in Malcolm's life, his father was mysteriously killed by people that Malcolm claimed were white supremacists. So, as you can hear he didn’t have a normal childhood, he only lived with his mom and his siblings, and that was rough. Many people think that Malcolm X was a racist, but he also had his reasons.
Malcolm X was born in 1925 and was murdered in 1965, but he has most known around the 1950s-1960s. He was a core member of a religious-based organization called Nation of Islam, where he held many speeches, and he often said that if violence needed it is okay. Malcolm X did many horrible and unforgivable things to many white people, and many people said rumors about him killing people. Most of all Malcolm X
