I was there, when it all happened. Kennedy Space Center, USA, July, 1969. When Neil Armstrong was sent to the moon on Apollo 11. I had managed to sneak closer to the launch building, so I was only a couple of hundred meters away from the rocket. When I looked up in the sky, all I saw was the rocket, it was so big! I could see the red stripes on the white rocket and the giant motors on the sides. In less than 30 minutes the rocket would launch, so I thought, Neil Armstrong would already be inside the rocket preparing himself, but it turned out I was wrong. As I stood there admiring the rocket, I suddenly saw a man walking towards me. It was Neil Armstrong himself. I thought, he would get mad at me and tell me to go to a safer place, but he just needed to take a piss and didn’t even notice me. It was a bit awkward, because he was peeing, but I walked up to him and asked him for his autograph. After he had finished, he let me have his autograph. I was very happy with this, as I now had something very cool to share with my friends.
