Why did I choose this topic? I´ve chosen this topic because I think it is a problem for a lot of teenagers. I think some teenagers are addicted and that’s definitely a big problem. I´ve also chosen this topic because I have a personal interest in this topic because I’m a teenager, so it is a very interesting topic for me. What is social media and which ones are the most popular?
In this topic, I will explore how much social media influences, young people. How much time young people actually spend on their mobiles. I also want to talk about bullying, influence in their everyday lives.
The problem
I will explain what the social media is and what they are used for, then I will analyze what the consequences are of the young people spending so much time on the social media, and eventually I will evaluate /discuss about bullying and suicide.

Social media is also sites where you can get information about the world, and some social media allows you to play games and call your friends. The most important thing on social media is probably that it is very easy to communicate with other people and that means people can write to other people on social media instead of talking to them in real life. Facebook is the most popular social media site with more than 1.8 billion active users monthly. There are a lot of young people who spend many hours a day on social media. More time than they spend at school or family. Thus, it is also a thing that affects the young people very much, with likes, commentary and editing on a picture or other. It's about the young people wanting to look good and impress others.
