Social media's impact on young people

I have chosen social media because i think social media has become a big part of people's lives and it especially affects young people socially. Social media hasw begun to take over in our everyday lives and it can have a negative effect on us. Social media are sites on the internet that makes is easier and faster to share picture or to comunicate with others. Social media is called social because one can communicate with people even if one is not in the same room. What characterizes social media is that it involves something with technology and social interaction. Those using social media can, among other things, share opinions, pictures, videos, etc. social media makes it possible to create direct online contact between people around the world. The social media is great for forming forums and networks of common interests.

Young people tend to copy others behavior, to avoid being excluded. So if everyone sits with their phones, you do the same, so you can be alone, but but you're together to be alone. And in the same way, if everyone is sitting and talking, you will not be the only one with the mobile phone. And now we live in a world where new social media are constantly being invented. (We swim around in social media.) There are over 200 different social media today and there will grow over the next many years.
