Child soldiers are children (individuals under the age of 18) who are used for any military purpose. Some are in their late teens, while others are very young, all the way down to 5 years old. They are not only boys – many are girls to.
As a child soldier, you can become a fighter, suicide bomb, human shield, messenger, spies and some of the girls are even used for sexual purposes as sexual slaves.
And when the small girls are getting raped, they don’t know that it is wrong. They are taught that they are objects for the men to abuse.
It’s hard in such a young age to know what’s right and what’s not, so when you from a very young age get teached how to use a gun and how to kill people and more, you think that it’s a normal thing, but it is not!.
Just like if you were a small child and got taught to not have so many manners, you don’t know that it is not right
They are completely missing out a normal and safe childhood. In this age you should learn about life, and how to be kind and stuff. But already in a very young age they are facing physical and emotional challenges that can scar them for the rest of their lives. You shouldn’t in this age be brainwashed and forced to kill other people.
