Gang violence is a big thing in a lot of countries not only poor countries but also rich countries like Denmark and the USA. It’s something you hear about in the media all the time. And a lot of murders are committed by gangs. People say gangs are inevitably and you can’t stop the violence. But how do you prevent young kids from getting into it? And is there no way to cut down on the shootings and homicides? Those are some questions I want to find out

As for when the first gang was created there is no exact answer to that. One of the first in the US was the 40 thieves in the 1820’s. But there is no record of a gang before that, though I probably think you could define certain groups before that as gangs. You can in a way say gangs started wayyy before that. A tribe is kind of a gang. It’s a group which protects its territory and there weren’t many laws back when tribes were a thing. In some tribes you would also have to go through a process of initiation before you could join or become a “man of the tribe”. So, in a sense gangs have always existed.
