In the short story “The Landlady” written by the world-renowned Roald Dahl. The short story is about a seventeen-year-old teenage boy called Billy Weaver who has been sent to the city of Bath by his boss. It his first time in Bath so his surroundings are completely new to him. Whilst wandering around the gloomy, empty streets of Bath looking for a local pub to stay in he stumbles across a very fascinating and warming bed and breakfast in which he is welcomed by a mad looking yet harmless old woman.
