Artificial intelligence and intelligent robots is a YouTube video where we follow Professor Wolfgang Wouster around at an AI conference.

The clip starts by showing a robot called Charlie. Charlie is a special robot because he is being programmed to be able to roam around on the surface of the moon, where he will gather and process information about the soil and atmosphere on the moon. Charlie was created at the German recherche center for artificial intelligence by professor Wolfgang Wooster who is a chief executive advisor. Professor Wolfgang believes that AI and robots will be a big part of our everyday life. He says that already today, AI is changing our society and that every day more and more progress is being made. He hopes that all the progress is positive in that he hopes that AI is making our lives easier and not that we are making Robot soldiers to fight our wars.

Professor Wouster has been working with AI for decades and has become an have been able to create robots that can understand human language. What that means is not that it can do google translate but that if you tell the robot something, it will understand what you mean. He spends a lot of time doing lectures to all different kinds of people, both to students, experts but also to normal people who just want a better understanding of the changes that are coming. Professor Wouster has done a lot of work trying to recreate human intelligence in computers and in that way make robots more human-like, almost turning robots into humanoids.
