Skribentens beskrivelse af Titanic eyewitnessIceberg in sight “The ship could never sink” they said, but on April 15, 1962, they got proven wrong. It was a bright and shining night. The sea was completely silent and still. It was me and my friend Paul’s turn to watch out for any danger on the look-out post. We knew there were icebergs in the Atlantic Ocean, but everybody had been told that Titanic couldn’t sink, so we weren’t afraid at all- at least not in the beginning. The light from the ship seemed so reflect on something, it kept on shining, but we hadn’t been given any binocular, and the night was as dark as the depth of the ocean, so we couldn’t see what I was. |
