Titanic April 15, 1912 on its way to New York. I remember it like it was yesterday. Me and my brother were on the big ship called Titanic. It was known for the ship that couldn’t sink. It was an amazing trip, until something happened that shouldn’t have happened. Suddenly the alarm went off, and of course everybody got scared and nobody understood what was happening. But then rumors starting getting around. Some people said that the ship had hit an iceberg and that it was going to sink. Me and my brother went to the front of the ship to try and figure out what was happening, but nobody really knew it. Suddenly somebody spoke in the speakers and told everyone that the ship had hit an iceberg, and that they would start evacuating. It was the people from the first class that would get on a boat first. There were so much chaos and everybody was screaming and thought they would die. Good for me and my brother, we were some of the first that got off. We got into a boat with around 15 other people and we were safe, but it was a nightmare anyways. Imagine seeing people dying, people that had to leave their family on the ship because there wasn't place in the boats. They couldn’t know if their family died or if they were ok. I’m so thankful for the people who helped me and my brother to get safe, but I still think they did something wrong. A lot of people died and the security people could have done better. In the boat we got in, there were at least place for 10 more people. I saw a lot of boats with a lot of space but the security people thought something else. It could have saved so many people's lives.
