7th October 2009. It was one of the luckier days in my life. As always I went down to my local kiosk to buy a lottery coupon. I bought lottery coupons for 28 £ and the big prize was 1 million £. As usual I didn’t expect big things from that little piece of paper. However, it did not end up like that. During the day I didn’t even give the lottery a thought. I went to a pub with my buddies to watch Chelsea-Arsenal. On the football area it also went great; my team Arsenal smacked Chelsea 2-5 on Stamford Bridge. When the match finished I went home, and the coupon suddenly came to my mind. I turned on the TV and checked the teletext on BBC. On my table I took a pen, and began to make circles around the numbers I got on my coupon. I just marked all the numbers on my coupon and without much reflection I got all 8 numbers. I began to scream and act crazy. I couldn’t sleep for more than an hour that night. The day after I went down to my local bank and cashed the coupon. A week after I told my family and close friends the news.
