A good education is an important part of your life, an education isn’t only a good thing for your future, but also the whole American future. The bad thing about this, is that the US education system the last few years has suffered, it carries a pressure from the lack of attention from politicians, students, and parents. According to the “Participant Media” out of 28 developed countries, American students ranked 20th of the graduation rights, they have fallen behind, and the consequences of this is that a kid drops out of high school every 26 second, that makes it 1.2 million in a year.

According to a recent survey from “Public School Review,” one of the problems with the American education system is the lack of teacher innovation and outdated teaching methods. In America, they send their children to school to prepare them for the real world, but the real world is changing fast but contemporary schools haven’t changed. The school system still works as if it was in the industrial age, for example, the children in the US education system doesn’t do anything but follow instructions, the children are being rewarded for doing exactly what they are told, but in real life when the children get out of school the modern world values people who can be creative, who can communicate their ideas and collaborate with others, but the children in the US doesn’t get a chance to develop those skills, because their education system is based on industrial age values. Therefore, are America in need of teachers who are better trained to meet the needs of their students and who are willing to speak up and facilitate change.
