The American need for learning Learning is a lifelong process. By learning, one gets knowledge or develops the ability to perform new manners. It is common to think of learning as something that takes place in school. For some people learning is more than sitting in a classroom listening to what the teacher has to say. Learning is much more and for me and maybe for many others learning for the most part happens outside the classroom. People continue to learn throughout their lives. It is obvious that learning continues throughout people's lives and it affects almost everything they do.
