Learning is a lifelong process. By learning, one gets knowledge or develops the ability to perform new manners. It is common to think of learning as something that takes place in school. For some people learning is more than sitting in a classroom listening to what the teacher has to say. Learning is much more and for me and maybe for many others learning for the most part happens outside the classroom. People continue to learn throughout their lives. It is obvious that learning continues throughout people's lives and it affects almost everything they do. The learning is very important in many different ways. For example teachers need to understand the best ways to educate their students so the class can get the best education and the knowledge they need to plan out their career of even their entire life. Social workers, Psychologists and other human service workers need to understand how certain experiences change people's behaviors. Employers, politicians and advertisers make use of the values of learning to influence the behavior of their workers, people that vote, and the consumers.

One of the big problems in the United States is that high school students are more stressed than ever before. And even though the amount of teenagers facing depression has more than doubled in recent years and the numbers are rising. There could be many reasons for these depressions but standardized testing seems to be one of the biggest problems. The futures of these kids/students are depending on good test scores. And these tests are very stressful large and oblivious very strenuous and forces a lot of students to stay up into the late night hours studying.
