It is beyond belief, what societies are becoming. A vast amount of kids don’t know how to control their anger, resolve their issues and are not aware of the result nor consequences of the violence their actions encourage. Whatever problem these kids have they should have their parental guardian(s)/ therapist of teachers to help and guide them in their respective situation. Bullying is the most common reason for child suicide. This is perhaps why kids today believe in getting even with the people that hurt/bully/make fun of them. Violent role models on the street, in the cinema or in the news have significant impact in kid’s decision of bringing guns to school. This would explain why kids believe that shooting is normal behavior; it all depends on your origin and your childhood. Regardless, children should not have access to guns at any time. There are too many bullies and too many youngsters at the mercy of bully’s. That’s why there must be inputs on how to prevent school shootings. I have never in my own experience had a killing at the 6 different schools I’ve been in, but that doesn’t mean I’m not aware that it is a big worldwide problem.
