School Shootings School shootings are a phenomenon and a big problem in the whole world – especially in USA. The crime around school shootings are increasing. Since 1966 and until 2009 there has almost been at least one school shooting per year. On these numbers I can clearly see, that it is something, which is very growing. At this homepage they inform, that the first school shooting was in 1966 in a university in Texas were 15 persons died. They also inform about the latest school shooting, which was in 2009 in Deer Valley High School, but no one died.
