School shootings are a phenomenon and a big problem in the whole world – especially in USA. The crime around school shootings are increasing. Since 1966 and until 2009 there has almost been at least one school shooting per year. On these numbers I can clearly see, that it is something, which is very growing. At this homepage they inform, that the first school shooting was in 1966 in a university in Texas were 15 persons died. They also inform about the latest school shooting, which was in 2009 in Deer Valley High School, but no one died. The extent of school shooting is very big.
I want to find some reasons, why school shooting happened, and why people do something like that. Why they can be so mad, that they actually want to kill people, just to make them self feel better. I want to find out whether, it is games or failure, which is the reason for people’s reactions.
There are many reasons why people do it and I am sure, that each has its own reason. One reason is that people look up to those people, who kill people in school. Every time something criminally happened, it will be send in TV. And this person, who sees it, may also want to have revenge and attention, and when she or he see or hear something about school shooting, they want to be the person people talks about in TV. That leads me to another reason which is failure. This is the biggest problem. There are so many people, who have been failure at home or in school, by family or by friends.
