Analyse af Jeffrey Archers novelle 'A Wasted Hour'

In this analytical essay my focus will be to make an introduction of the author of the short story, Jeffrey Archer. After that I will make a short resume of the story “A Wasted Hour”. I will of course also focus on the narration and points of view, message, themes, and characterization in my analyse of the story, as it says in the task description.

According to Wikipedia.org, Jeffrey Archer is an English novelist, former politician, convicted perjurer, and peer of the realm. He is currently living in London, England. Jeffrey Archer was also a member of the parliament in England from 1969-1974. As an author Jeffrey Archer have also been a big name and famous over the whole world, he´s books have sold between 250 and 330 million copies worldwide.

“A Wasted Hour” is about a young female student from Stanford University in USA whose name is Kelley Ragland but is just known as Kelley. Kelley is an aspiring writer, and she is a very open-minded girl, and she wants to meet new people. The way she wants to meet new people is to do hitchhiking. It is also a plus for Kelley that she can save money when she is doing hitchhiking.
