Who are the main characters? Give an analysis of the main character and their development throughout the movie
The Grinch lives his life care-free, ding as he pleases and doesn’t let himself keep worrying. Things like running away show that even though it’s not the best way to solve a problem, the Grinch would rather avoid it then face the pain. The Grinch lives in isolation and shows an open distrust of others kindness, showing that he is definitely not open. This trait is proven, by the fact that he puts up do not enter signs in front of his cave with an intruder alert, so that he can scare away anyone trying to get near him. When he meets Cindy Lou for the first time, he also tries to scare her away and push her into disliking him. Although this backfires, he still does the best to isolate himself from society, rejecting festival invites and purposefully giving people a reason to dislike him. The Grinch is definitely not an agreeable person either. He does things his own way and doesn’t listen to anyone.
