Huck and Jim found a cave in a big hill and they decided to sleep in there. The next ten days it non stopped rained and they had to stay there. After that, they found a house with a dead man where they took knives, fishing lines and some clothes. In the clothes, they found 8 dollars and huck decided to go to the town to spend them but all people in town knew about him so to secure that he didn’t get recognized he learned how to act like a girl.
Chapter 5
In town Huck saw a woman he didn’t know throw a window. She must have been new because Huck knew everybody in the town. Huck decided to knock at the door and the woman opened the door. He told the woman that his name was Sarah Williams and that his mom was sick. The woman asked him if he wanted to get inside. Suddenly the woman gets a suspicion that Huck might be a boy. Huck told the woman another story that she actually believed. Then Huck paddled back to Jim and said: “We have to go!”.
Chapter 6
Jim and Huck travelled away from the island in a raft with a tent on. While they were travelling they fished and talked. They traveled at night and they hid at day. One night Huck spotted a steamboat that was about to sink. Huck and Jim decided to paddle over to it. When they got inside of it they suddenly heard some voices. It sounded like a man was about to get killed by some tough guys. Jim ran away but Huck wanted to get closer. He felt bad for the guy who was about to get killed so him and Jim stole the tough guy’s boat so they were stuck on the steamboat. Then he told a man that his family were stuck on the steamboat and him and Jim paddled away again.
