In this entry about Brooklyn 99 I am going to explain what Brooklyn 99 is, as well as tell you about one of the main characters in the series named Jakob (Jake) Peralta.
Brooklyn 99 is about 9 detectives in a squad who helps fight crime in Brooklyn. The show is funny because there are a lot of inside jokes.
Who is in the Show?
-Captain Holt is the captain of the squad, coupled with him being gay.
-Amy Santiago is the one trying to always act tough.
-Rosa Diaz is the scary one, she is also having anger problems.
-Hitchcock & Scully are the useless and lazy ones in the squad.
-Gina Lenetti is Holt’s assistant in addition to that, she is the bully and the cool person.
- Sergeant Jeffords is the sergeant and surprisingly has the softest personality.
-Charles Boyle is really into food blogging and is Jake’s best friend.
About Jake Peralta
Jake Peralta started off being a sloppy and childish individual although he has an amazing way of solving crimes. He does not take the job that seriously and refuses to wear a tie, even though his captain orders him to. He also has a crippling depth. Later in the series, he becomes more mature and gets a wife, Amy Santiago, that helps him develop into a more mature human being, even though he still dresses identically.
