Terror in Paris - “Suddenly, it has become dangerous to walk outside your front door”.
The Sunday we’ll never forget. The Sunday that changed France, Europe and even the whole world forever. It all started November 13th at Place de la République, central in Paris. On a dark winter day in 2015, the Islamic state attacked a Jewish supermarket and the well known satire magazine, Charlie Hebdo. They also stroke several other places in Paris.
A series of explosions and shots, on multiple locations in Paris, at 21:15, was what cost the life’s of almost 200 Frenchmen. 433 people were wounded, and almost 100 people is in critical condition at the moment. It’s not only the physical injured that will have scars, but the whole French population will forever have the scars of this traumatic experience.
The attacks started at 21:15 and ended at 00:58. ISIS attacked in 3 teams that had planned seven attacks at different locations all round in Paris. 4 of the attacks were with suicide bombs and the remaining 3 was explosions that happened near the soccer stadium Stade de France. The bombs at the stadium exploded while France and Germany were playing a national friendly match. There was meanwhile a whole lot of street shootings. Urban life has never been more dangerous. People feared for their lives, and It was almost like living in world war 2 again. It was the deadliest attack that happened in France ever since World war 2, and the deadliest in Europe since the terror attack at the train station in Madrid 2004. The attacks in that happened a few days ago happened only a day after Islamic state attacked Lebanon.
