The Baby and Fly Pie is about at young boy called Fly Pie and his little sister Jane. They are living on a tip in London. They see themselves as rubbish kids and are living under a huge protection by Mother Shelly. Mother Shelly is not their real mother, she is helping homeless children to survive without their parents and a home. Mother Shelly gives her children dinner every day, and teaches them how to be warm when the winter comes. She isn’t giving them a hot meal everyday but sometimes they are lucky to find something food in the garbage. Fly Pie has not always been on the tip and looking for food, Jane and Fly Pie were born in a rich family with loving parents in a big house with a lot of expensive things. One day the family was going to zoo. They took the train and it was there the sad thing happened, Jane and Fly Pie get lost, they were following the wrong couple and could not see their parents, and that is the reason why they now live on the tip. “Or, that is what they say”. In fact they can’t even remember their own last name. Fly Pie and Jane were very young when they were “kicked” out into the street. A great day to Fly Pie and the other children on the tip is when the Lorries from the North end and the West end are coming, the lorry from the North end brings clothes and shoes, maybe you were lucky to find an abandoned bicycle with a little bell. The Lorries from the West end are the best, there you can find treasures, big treasures, the first thing they always are looking for are delicious food, sometimes a hot meal is being dropped down from the Lorries in lots of black bags, when that happens the children on the tip are having a party. One day Fly Pie finds a ring. He is looking out for some jewellery shop who maybe would buy it, but the other rubbish kids saw him, they tell mother Shelly and Fly Pie has to give her the ring. It is a real diamond ring, but that isn’t a good thing for a rubbish kid. If you want to stay out of trouble so stay away from treasures in that size. Treasures have to be in a low class when you live on the tip.
