Last week I was among the audience at the Million Dollar Baby fight in Las Vegas Nevada between Maggie “mo cuishle” Fitzgerald 33 years old the waitress from Missouri who fight her way in to the boxing environment and known for knocking out opponents in first round and Billie “the blue bear” 23 years old a ex-prostitute WBA women’s welterweight Campion from Germany who does not know the word mercy and known as a “dirty fighter”
Blue Bear starts out well not letting Maggie punch her but after a couple of rounds after talking to her manager Frank Dunn Maggie takes over the fight at beats Blue Bears ass (literally!) and the fight starts to get interesting and people are screaming “mo cuishle mo cuishle” and I catch myself yelling with them the atmosphere is amazing. This was the first fight I have ever been at but it is for sure not the last! The fights go on Maggie wins two rounds then Blue Bear wins some rounds then after the bell have ring and Maggie is ahead of Blue Bear, Blue Bear knocks her out with a sucker punch right in the face from behind but Maggie’s manager had already put the stool in the ring for Maggie and before he can pull it out she falls and her neck hits the edge of the stool the audience are suddenly all quiet and I heat a “crack” and fell sick the fight is over so suddenly doctors and nurses stands in a circle around Maggie who lies lifeless in the ring she looks peaceful and in pain at the same time a women in the audience throws op and I fell very sick I want to get out of here but I am frozen I want to se what happens to that poor girl lies there lifeless on the floor ambulance comes and takes her to the hospital.
