When I was growing up, I remember my family situation as extremely loving and caring. I grew up with my 3-year older brother, living with a mom and dad who was devoted to be there individually for me and my brother. Me and my brother was constantly being taken care of, especially by my mother. I think that’s why to this day me and my mother’s relationship is beyond inseparable. I grew up in a small neighbourhood surrounded by children my age. So, it was never difficult for me to find a playdate nearby. That also gave me some kind of safety as a child. Until the day my parents decided to move out of the small town and move to a bigger city, called Vejle. Not only was I devastated that I had to leave my friends and all the things that made me safe behind, but I had to make myself a new social life in a new city where the only people I knew was my family. But it all worked out just fine and before I even knew it, I ended primary school with the best girlfriends I could ever dream of. I then decided to try something new I never even thought I would consider. Boarding school. I saw a tv show on the local TV channel about a school called Herlufsholm Boarding school. So, I decided to try it out and as I imagined, it was the best time and I was happier than ever, and I was so beyond thrilled about being able to step out of my comfort zone in order to get new friends. I met new amazing people from all over the world who coincidentally chose the same school as me. What a year!
