In the world of science, we have seen a huge evolution in technology, like BCI, or brain-computer-interface as it is actually called. Now, there is some debate, talking about if it is good or bad. Some say that BCI is going to help people, which are disabled, paralyzed, and/or amputees, or people whom has lost one or more limbs, like a hand. It can do so by giving them a prosthetic limb or some kind of mechanical device, which can help them walk or help them grap thing like a hand. They are able to use this technology by using their brains. Moreover, the bad things that can come from this, is the fact that it is possible to hack into it, it being the BCI-device. I am going to talk about some of the good things that BCI can bring us and some of the bad thing that it might cause.

The user is controlling the device that I have been talking about, when they put on a ¨hat¨ or after they had brain surgery. At first, we have the hat. This hat is able to make a connection with electrodes that, when placed on the scalp of the user, is then able to pick up brain signals. However, there is a different way than just putting on a hat. According to some studies, it is possible to have brain surgery, where a device is placed on, or close to the brain so it is easier to pick up the brain signals. Now it can be very dangerous to have brain surgery, however if it is the only way to make BCI possible it might be worth it to those in need. That is obviously one of the draw bags. The other is the fact, that it might be possible to hack the device.
