As arranged, we met Bob early in the morning. Our first impression was that he was older than we had expected, but he seemed very friendly. I’ve made plans’ he said. Let’s go.

Bobs plans for the day was to go see the beautiful nature in New Zealand. Bob wanted to see the animals and the mountains. We started off at 5 AM and walked through the countryside and it was beautiful as Bob told me. It was Bob, Marcus and me, Marcus is my brother. After one hour walk, we found a place to eat breakfast and watch the sunrise. We first saw the sun when it came over the mountainside. After breakfast we went towards the mountain we should climb. The hours passed and at 11 AM we were at bottom at the mountain. We then started walking up the mountain and I could tell Bob have tried this before. It was physically hard for Marcus and me, but Bob helped us, and we made pauses when we needed it. At one point we should walk close the mountain on a small path, and it became dangerous, and we walked very slow for the safety. About 1 PM we became hungry and made dinner. We made a bonfire and made eggs. It felt special to be at a mountain and eat dinner to the beautiful view. We ate and got some rest and about 2 PM we went on. We were heading to the top of the mountain. That was the big goal of the day. We went on and the time began to go slow, we began to get tired, but I could only talk for Marcus and me. Bob was much older than us, but it seems like he couldn’t get tired. He walked in the same tempo all the time, we really slowed him down. But it was nice to just walk and hear Bob telling us stories about his life. It never got boring. When we came to the top our whole family was there and Bob has arranged it all. It was so great to see everyone and really share this moment with them. No such thing as that feeling when you get to the top. At the top we all ate dinner. Again, we made a bonfire and we made steaks, potatoes, and sauce. It was a moment I will never forget and such a good time.
