Is sustainability actually that important? [NAVN A] In the broadest possible sense, sustainability refers to the ability of something to maintain or "sustain" itself over time. In the past decade, sustainability has been a topic of interest all around the world. It has been discussed everywhere - from the grocer’s to meetings at the UN with some of the world's most powerful people. Since the industrial revolution began in the year 1760, the CO2 levels of the world have risen more than 30%. This means that the concentration of CO2 in our atmosphere is higher than it ever has been.
